The Christmas Stroll fills West Colorado Avenue with carolers, reindeer, and holiday shoppers. But behind our gallery door, there's something the crowds walking by won't see.
Step inside, give the password, and follow our narrow back hallway to a door most visitors never notice. It opens onto a secret courtyard lit with strings of twinkle lights and surrounded by walls painted by our very own Brenda Jones. Grab a stick, pick your marshmallow, and toast it just the way you like it.
It's cozy, a little mysterious, and a chance to slow down and chat with neighbors between stops on the Stroll. Kids love the secret entrance, and grown-ups love the hidden-away feel.
The password: "I like mine toasty"
Whisper it at the front desk and we'll show you the way. (Forgot it? We'll let you in anyway, but it's more fun if you say it.)
Free and open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult while roasting. We're sorry, but the courtyard is not wheelchair accessible.
While you're here, take a look around the gallery and find the perfect gift for everyone on your list.
The Marshmallow Speakeasy is part of the Old Colorado City Christmas Stroll, a free neighborhood celebration with shop specials, Dickens Carolers, live reindeer in Bancroft Park, and photos with Santa. Make us your sweetest stop of the night.
