•  Put 1 TBS of oil or butter in the bottom of the bowl with 1/4tsp salt if desired. If using butter, melt in the microwave before adding popcorn. Add 1/4cup of popcorn kernels, stir, and cover with lid. place in microwave for about 2-3 minutes, or until you hear about 2 seconds between pops.
