• African violets have sensitive leaves that don't like getting wet. This pot is designed to let you water an African violet from below. Plant the violet in the upper pot and pour water into one of the openings in the lower pot until the water comes up to the lip. The plant will draw as much water as it needs through the holes in the bottom of the upper pot.
