Bangkok, Thailand.

I was born and raised on a rural cattle ranch in Zimbabwe, surrounded by the vibrant fabrics, symbolism, and color that continue to shape my work. My mother, an artist, nurtured my creative spirit and instilled in me a deep respect for craftsmanship and storytelling through handmade objects.

I began working with clay in Harare, Zimbabwe, where I built a primitive studio to produce platters and bowls for my catering business. Using stoneware, colored slips, oxide washes, and glazes, I embraced the organic nature of pottery—sourcing local materials and experimenting with natural finishes. Each piece reflects my connection to the land and the process of making by hand.

My studio practice has since traveled across continents, from Zimbabwe to the United States and now Bangkok, Thailand.  Living and working in different cultures continues to expand my perspective and influence my forms and surfaces.

I am currently pursuing a BA in Art Studies to deepen my knowledge and refine my craft. Alongside my studies, I teach pottery classes and create work that reflects the textures, stories, and places that have shaped my journey.
