Robin Scappaticci’s journey with clay began in the Hudson Valley of New York, where she fell in love with ceramics during high school. She went on to earn a degree in Ceramics from the State University of New York in Potsdam and worked as a production potter in Massachusetts. After a 25-year hiatus, Robin rediscovered her passion for clay through a transformative summer class. 

Robin Scappaticci’s Botanical Imprint Collection celebrates the quiet beauty of nature through hand-built and wheel-thrown functional ceramics. Each piece is thoughtfully textured with real leaves, lace, or floral imprints—capturing delicate details that turn everyday objects into artful keepsakes.

From mugs and bowls to trays and wall sconces, Robin’s work merges functionality with artistic expression. Her layered surface designs often combine imprinting, sgraffito, and monoprinting techniques, creating subtle depth and natural elegance in every form. Soft glazes and organic motifs bring a sense of calm to the table, inviting daily use and appreciation.
