This piece is a part of "America 250", a group show honoring the nation's 250th birthday. If purchased on our website, this piece will ship the week of July 12th, 2026.
For this show the artists were invited to engage with the theme however they choose — historical, patriotic, political, nostalgic, or something more personal. The result is a conversation in many voices about what America means, where we've been, and where we're going.
Painted circa 1990, "Old Glory" is a true collector piece by Lorraine Danzo — an original watercolor that is both modern and timeless.
Artist's Statement:
"I painted 'Old Glory' in New Jersey about 30 years ago. I selected the title because the term 'old glory' represents three things to me: the flag of an amazing country, the old house of a simpler time, and my own old glory from years past painting in traditional watercolor."
