My work is constantly evolving, shaped by changing concepts and subject matter. I’m always learning, experimenting, and still find myself surprised by what emerges in my latest pieces. I’ve found a way of being with my work that allows me to see myself and my own mysteries reflected in each creation.
My process is simple: I start with a shape, a color, or a general idea. Each element suggests what should come next until the piece feels balanced and complete. Driven by intuition and guided by artistic experience, I use a variety of materials to access this creative process.
My newest series, Passages, was inspired by visits to abandoned garment district warehouses. In these deserted spaces, the soft amber light of afternoon filtered through age-worn windows, revealing dusty swirls of light and shadows of forgotten fabrics. The decaying remnants evoked a nostalgic sadness for the lives once tied to these spaces—moments spent and forgotten, invisible markers of another time. These poetic ghosts now haunt my work, inspiring new creative directions.
