This collection explores the intricate and natural shapes found in the animal kingdom. These paintings use different angles, close-ups, and pathworked perspectives to show the vibrant textures of insects, reptiles, fish, and birds.

By zooming in on scales, feathers, and fine details, I capture entirely new environments. I shift away from traditional portraiture to focus on pure form, color, and line. The results are vivid, abstracted landscapes taken from the anatomy of these creatures.

Delicate pen and ink drawings on the sides of the wood panels offer a final reference to the original creature once the main artwork has been seen.
