So during the few times that I'm able to leave the rat race, I always choose to go and explore the most unique landscapes that the U.S. has to offer. Most notably the southwest, an area assumed by many as lifeless or boring. But even in the harshest climates, there's always something worth appreciating if you look close enough. A theme for a lot of my photos is getting a closer look, and taking the time to see what any part of nature has to offer, whether it be the mountains of Colorado, the beaches of California or the deserts of Arizona. This photo is an example that there's always something to appreciate in the outdoors, even when we don't realize it."
