Nemick uses both the potter’s wheel and hand-building techniques to create his vessels and sculptures, many of which are inspired by the rugged landscape of his home state of Colorado. This piece was fired in the raku tradition, which Nemick incorporates into much of his work and which gives his pieces their unique colors and texture.
