Live Edge Woodcrafts: This style incorporates the natural edge of the wood into the design of the piece making each one unique. All of the wood has been responsibly harvested along the Colorado Front Range from dead or dying old growth or from a sawmill in Tucson. All pieces incorporate turquoise inlay to repair damaged knots or to fill cracks, while retaining other imperfections in a “distressed” look. Each piece undergoes about fifteen crafting steps to complete the unique look and feel of natural edge tables and other furnishings.

One of a kind Furniture by Tom Conter
- 50” L x 12-21” W x 25” H, 1-1/4” thick. This Elm slab is from my Lake George, CO sawmill, and it features a “crotch” end where a major limb separated from the trunk. The substantial AZ turquoise inlay was used to fill the many gaps and cracks. The stainless steel hairpin legs are from a fabricator in Detroit, MI.
