- The Russian Olive piece is from my Ft. Lupton, CO sawmill, and it is not native to the U.S. Since it is a thirsty invasive species, many cities in Colorado have banned it. It produces a rich milk chocolate color with a wonderful, swirling grain. The inlay is AZ turquoise, and the black hairpin legs are from an American supplier. 62” L x 12-14” W x 29” H.

Live Edge Woodcrafts: This style incorporates the natural edge of the wood into the design of the piece making each one unique. All of the wood has been responsibly harvested along the Colorado Front Range from dead or dying old growth or from a sawmill in Tucson. All pieces incorporate turquoise inlay to repair damaged knots or to fill cracks, while retaining other imperfections in a “distressed” look. Each piece undergoes about fifteen crafting steps to complete the unique look and feel of natural edge tables and other furnishings.
