- This large slab of Cottonwood is from my Colorado Springs supplier. Cottonwoods are tall, deciduous trees commonly found along riverbanks and other high-moisture areas, and they are indigenous to Colorado. This slab features beautiful golden tones and great patterns where the two limbs split. The flat bar steel, trapezoid legs and from a fabricator in Detroit, MI. 40” L x 16-26” W x 30” high, 1-3/8” thick.

Live Edge Woodcrafts: This style incorporates the natural edge of the wood into the design of the piece making each one unique. All of the wood has been responsibly harvested along the Colorado Front Range from dead or dying old growth or from a sawmill in Tucson. All pieces incorporate turquoise inlay to repair damaged knots or to fill cracks, while retaining other imperfections in a “distressed” look. Each piece undergoes about fifteen crafting steps to complete the unique look and feel of natural edge tables and other furnishings.
