One of a kind Furniture by Tom Conter
- 54” L x 11-21” W x 25” H. These silver maple pieces are from my Lake George, CO sawmill, and the top features a dramatic split where two limbs separated. The damage is filled with AZ turquoise. The lower shelf has a beautiful array of colors due to the difference in beige sapwood, brown and pink heartwood, and the rust color on the live edge. The steel H style legs are from a CA supplier.

Live Edge Woodcrafts: This style incorporates the natural edge of the wood into the design of the piece making each one unique. All of the wood has been responsibly harvested along the Colorado Front Range from dead or dying old growth or from a sawmill in Tucson. All pieces incorporate turquoise inlay to repair damaged knots or to fill cracks, while retaining other imperfections in a “distressed” look. Each piece undergoes about fifteen crafting steps to complete the unique look and feel of natural edge tables and other furnishings.
