45° will be featuring demonstrations by oil painter Michael Clark and stone inlay by woodcrafter Tom Conter. Both artists will have new one of a kind pieces to debut for ArtWalk. Join us on Friday, June 1st from 5pm to 8pm.
Michael Clark Fine Art is a painter focused on capturing the world around him. From summer afternoons by the beach to evening sunsets in the mountains, Michael travels all over to capture these effects on canvas. For ArtWalk Michael will be transforming a blank canvas into an impressionistic mountain sunset.
Tom Conter of Live Edge Woodcrafts discovered live edge or natural edge woods about four years ago, and has been hooked ever since. Each piece undergoes ten to fifteen crafting steps to complete the unique look and feel. Some pieces incorporate gem stone inlay to repair damaged knots or to fill cracks. Tom will be bringing an array of items 50 and under for this June 1st event.
We hope you can join all of the Old Colorado City CO ArtWalk galleries for a fun night of art and community.
