First Friday Featuring: Tom Conter & Carlos Salazar Arenas

We are thrilled to invite you to our next First Friday Artwalk on August 2nd from 5 to 8 PM. This month, we are featuring the incredible works of two talented Colorado artists, Tom Conter and Carlos Salazar Arenas.

Tom Conter is a wood artisan known for his stunning live edge tables with turquoise stone inlay accents. His creations range from accent tables and cocktail tables to console tables, clocks, and charcuterie boards, all made from a variety of exquisite wood species. As a special offer for the event, Tom will be offering 20% off select tables and all charcuterie boards.

Carlos Salazar Arenas is a dynamic painter who brings his environment to life on canvas. His latest collection, rich in color and often monochromatic, captures the essence of airplane pilots, skydivers, helicopters, and rock climbers. Carlos’ use of color, stain, and calligraphy adds a unique and captivating dimension to his work. He employs these techniques to encourage viewers to see his subjects from a fresh perspective, promoting thoughtful reflection and a more objective interpretation. This intentional approach allows viewers to step back and gain a deeper understanding of the themes he explores.
